I offer an open sliding scale: $120–$175 for a 60-minute session, or $180–$260 for 90 minutes. It's a true sliding scale, which means you get to feel into what's genuinely affordable for you. I trust you to choose the number that lets you see me as often as you'd like, and that keeps this work sustainable for both of us.

I would love to! Please fill out the "contact" form and we can schedule a free 20 minute phone or video consultation.

Can we chat before scheduling a session?

Unfortunately not. It is outside my scope of practice to diagnose my clients, which insurance companies require.

Absolutely not! Come as you are. Some people like to have a notebook nearby to jot down thoughts or journal after the session, but that is by no means required. I do request that you abstain from alcohol, cannabis, and other substances before our sessions, to support your nervous system function. If we are meeting outside, let’s touch base about your seating preferences.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for a session?

It is vital that we move at a pace of trust, so we will not be diving straight into the deep end of difficulty. We will begin by establishing some resources; people or places or areas of your body that bring you a sense of comfort or stability. From that place, we can begin to explore the hard stuff, and gently allow the nervous system’s natural healing process to emerge. If you want to hear more, please reach out for a consultation.

What can I expect from a Somatic Experiencing session?

How often should we meet?

I recommend weekly or every other week, especially as we are establishing a relationship. Ultimately however, the frequency can be whatever feels most supportive for you.

I offer trauma-informed, inclusive, beginner friendly yoga. Whether you are new to yoga or interested in deepening your practice with a grounded, friendly, body positive practitioner, I am happy to support you in your goals.

What kind of yoga do you offer?

do i need to be flexible?

No! This common misconception sometimes keeps people away from the many benefits of yoga, only one of which is increased flexibility. So, if you want to be more flexible, come to yoga! If you don’t care about flexibility but would like to feel more connected to your body, also come to yoga! Whatever is driving you, you are welcome here.

Where do you facilitate nature sessions?

There are a few spots I love to go in the Sacramento area, but depending on where you live and your travel capacity, we can choose a spot together.

Nature sessions provide a space to be supported not just by the practitioner, but by the land itself. Together we will set intentions, look inward, and look to the surrounding environment for guidance. The wisdom of nature is abundant and generous, if only we slow down enough to take it in. And by all means, go on a hike as well!

What do I need to bring?

What’s the point of a nature session? Can’t I just go on a hike?

Nature sessions are typically 90 minutes, so bring whatever you might need to keep your body comfortable. This might include water, a snack, layers, and comfortable shoes. We will not be doing strenuous activity (unless you feel very called to do so!) but we will be in the great outdoors, so plan accordingly. I am happy to offer more detailed advice if needed.
